Big Time Rush is an American pop-punk band, was founded in 2009. The group consists of Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Logan Henderson, and Carlos PenaVega. In 2009 they signed with Nick Records before moving to Columbia Records. The group was featured in Nickelodeon's television show Big Time Rush. The show ran from November 28th the 29th of 2009 to July 25, 2013. The premiere episode introduced the group's first single for promotion, "Big Time Rush". The group recorded three albums, BTR in 2010, Elevate , and 24/Seven in 2013. The band took an indefinite hiatus in the year 2014 which lasted until 2021, when the group resumed live performances and released the single "Call It Like I See It".
